Job Overview In this part-time role, you will work 34 hours per week, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday. As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, navigating our imaging software, and collaborating with team members to meet client turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Navigate efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry. Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency. Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling, demonstrating attention to detail and a thorough understanding of our processes. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual support. Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Additional Responsibilities Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes. Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in basic education and a commitment to lifelong learning. Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, with a proven track record of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Assessment Requirements If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, demonstrating their ability to work accurately and efficiently in a simulated environment. To be successful, candidates must achieve a minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate, showcasing their skills and competencies in data entry.
