Key Responsibilities On-site event management: You will be the face of the company, responsible for producing the show, coordinating move-in and move-out, and providing exceptional customer service to exhibitors and attendees. Event planning and coordination: You will work closely with our in-house operations team to organize and coordinate nearly 200 annual events, including scheduling, planning, pricing, and confirming details with internal and external parties. Communication and problem-solving: You will utilize your excellent written and verbal communication skills to multi-task in a high-volume environment, de-escalate situations, and remain calm under pressure. Team collaboration: You will work closely with our experienced team members, including senior managers, to ensure seamless event execution and continuous improvement. Essential Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in event management or a related field, demonstrating leadership skills and a strong work ethic. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Flexibility and openness to take on new projects and tasks in an ever-changing and growing company. Ability to travel approximately 40% of the year, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Related education or experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field. Experience with event planning software and technology. Knowledge of the events industry, including trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Certifications or training in event management, such as CMP or CMM.
