Job Overview In this exciting role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives. You will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts, managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, and continuously improving our operations workflow. Our workflow has three major components: First mile, Middle mile, and Last mile, and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of these components. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to meet business objectives Collaborate with all support teams to develop plans that drive business excellence Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach in a fast-paced environment Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts and work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments) Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
