Job Overview In this part-time remote customer service role, you will be working in a high-volume call center environment, interacting with our members over the phone, and providing them with personalized support and guidance. Your primary objective will be to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our members receive the best possible experience. You will be required to work afternoon to night shifts, with example hours ranging from 5pm to 11pm. Primary Responsibilities Provide timely and effective resolutions to customer inquiries and issues, ensuring that our members receive the support they need. Serve as a single point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and providing personalized support to address their concerns. Respond to and own consumer inquiries and issues, taking ownership of each interaction and ensuring that our members receive a positive experience. Provide education and status updates on previously submitted pre-authorizations or pre-determination requests, keeping our members informed and up-to-date. Meet performance goals established for the position, including efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and attendance, consistently striving for excellence in your work. Conduct proactive research on assigned member accounts to identify potential service issues, taking a proactive approach to resolving problems and improving the overall customer experience. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Remote experience is required , as you will be working from home and interacting with our members over the phone. Call center experience is helpful, but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. A GED or High School Diploma (or higher) is required, demonstrating your commitment to education and personal development. Essential Qualifications In addition to the above requirements, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced call center environment. You should be highly organized, efficient, and productive, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, bilingual Spanish skills are highly desirable, and you will be eligible for a higher hourly rate of $18/hour if you possess this skill. Additionally, previous experience in the healthcare industry or a related field would be an asset, as it would demonstrate your understanding of the sector and your ability to provide informed support to our members.
