Our team members are the heart of our organization, and we are proud to offer a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic work environment that fosters growth, development, and career advancement. **Job Summary** As a Part-Time Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Responsibilities** * Review and identify issues from calls into the telephony system in a timely manner (50%) * Maintain a working knowledge of workflow systems to properly assign follow-up dates, department requests, and notate appropriately (10%) * Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately while providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines (10%) * Perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance (10%) * Assist with clerical duties as needed, such as email, facsimile, etc. (10%) * Requires close supervision and guidance from the supervisor (10%) **Requirements** * 1+ years of medical revenue cycle experience (required) * 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience (preferred) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Proficiency in workflow systems and software applications * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **What We Offer** * A robust benefits package, including health insurance, flexible scheduling, 401k, and student loan repayment programs * Opportunities for career growth and advancement * A supportive, inclusive, and dynamic work environment * Flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs * The opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home **Training and Onboarding** * Orientation and training will take place Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CST for approximately 3 weeks * Normal working hours will be Monday and Tuesday, 9:00am – 5:30pm CST, and Wednesday, 9:00am – 1:00pm **Why Join blithequark?** We know it’s not just about finding a job.
