Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Pharmacist and Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for executing medical services procedures, driving patient wellbeing results, and implementing patient intervention pharmacy programs. You will also be accountable for processing prescriptions from a remote setting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing expertise and support to other pharmacists and field leaders. Key Responsibilities Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Therapy Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects Drive the execution of multiple field-tested strategies and projects to ensure business needs are being met Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by analyzing, assessing, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing outcomes; and implementing changes Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives and implementing patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance Support efforts on improving patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services, such as patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership, and promote staff training experiences and development opportunities Conduct data and clinical reviews and make necessary actions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment and provide individualized patient/supplier consultation Win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns Give feedback concerning the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients on the value of individual consultations Perform other work consistent with the job duties in this document as assigned by management Essential Qualifications Current Pharmacist license as allowed by the appropriate state licensing authority Experience advancing colleagues to research and resolve issues Experience working with confidential information Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines of multiple tasks with varying completion dates Experience creating ways to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and determining when escalation of issues is necessary Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction Preferred Qualifications Ability to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary Knowledge of insurance plans Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or possibly printing worksheets) Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view as well as running a slide show) Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and section width, formatting, inserting bullets, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet or possibly print functions) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
