Job Summary We are looking for a part-time remote Screener/QA Specialist to join our Safari and WebKit team. As a critical member of our team, you will play a key role in qualifying Safari software releases and ensuring a great customer experience. You will be responsible for triaging bugs in the Safari browser and WebKit engine, as well as collaborating with engineering teams, management, and the program office to resolve issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities Screen incoming bugs, run a large line ASAP, reduce them to viable steps, and assign them to appropriate specialists. Apply basic troubleshooting and investigation techniques to identify and resolve issues. Collaborate with engineering teams, management, and the program office to ensure effective communication and issue resolution. Utilize QA philosophies and methodologies to ensure high-quality products. Adapt to a dynamic environment with evolving needs and priorities. Leverage knowledge of Python, Javascript, or other scripting languages to automate tasks and improve processes. Work with Git or other source control systems to manage code changes and collaborate with team members. Participate in automated functional or performance testing to ensure product quality. Develop and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent. Experience with QA methodologies and philosophies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with Python, Javascript, or other scripting languages. Experience working with Git or other source control systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with automated functional or performance testing. Knowledge of browser experiences and web technologies. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
