As a remote Patient Care Advocate, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our members. **Job Summary** As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll be responsible for handling customer service inquiries from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits. You'll work to research and resolve problems in a timely manner, assist members in understanding and maximizing the use of their pharmacy distribution program, and use computerized systems to gather information and respond to questions. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle inbound and outbound member, provider, and physician calls to address pharmacy benefits-related inquiries * Answer questions related to pharmacy benefits, maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees where applicable * Work with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues and respond to members within performance agreement guidelines * Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns * Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring corrective action is pursued and expedited to address their needs * Adhere to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations * Perform other duties as needed to support the team and ensure exceptional customer service **Essential Qualifications** * 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role (preferred) * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency in computerized systems and software applications * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred **Preferred Qualifications** * 1 year of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy-related field * Experience with pharmacy benefits and claims processing * Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards * Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)) **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency in computerized systems and software applications * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
