About the Role blithequark's Patient Billing Customer Service department within the Revenue Cycle Management Division is seeking energetic, passionate, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Customer Service Support Representative. Key Responsibilities Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing exceptional support and resolution to their inquiries and concerns. Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring that they receive the necessary support and guidance to manage their accounts effectively. Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in navigating complex systems and applications. Maintain performance goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge. Minimum 1+ year of work experience required, preferably in a customer-facing role, such as medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, or a related field. Previous work in a high-volume call environment with several computer windows open is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous interaction and communication with patients regarding medical information is strongly preferred, demonstrating a high level of empathy and understanding of patient needs and concerns.
