Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Monument Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing relationship-centered, compassionate, and quality care to patients through skilled clinical practice and the integration of the healing and science of professional nursing. You will actively participate in the prevention and resolution of illness, disability, or injury, alleviate suffering, and advocate for individuals' care alongside interdisciplinary teams of healthcare providers, family members, and support systems. This is a full-time, part-time, or PRN position, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs and preferences. Key Responsibilities Utilize the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care, adhering to ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice, institutional policies, and applicable laws and regulations. Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients, prioritizing the prevention of illnesses and injuries, promoting health and healing, alleviating suffering, and advocating for the highest level of care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare providers, family members, and support systems to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Utilize independent judgment to employ the nursing process, making decisions that reflect the current standards in nursing practice and upholding the integrity of the nursing profession. Participate in health education and health promotion, encouraging individuals to lead healthy lifestyles and fostering a safe environment for patients and families. Stay current with advances in medical research, technologies, and techniques, ensuring that care delivery is efficient, cost-effective, and successful in achieving positive health outcomes. Essential Qualifications Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA). Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
