In this role, you will have the ability to provide leadership and guidance to supporting staff, ensure the accurate delivery of pharmaceutical care services, and offer exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ensure the accurate delivery of pharmaceutical care services, including drug therapy monitoring, patient education, drug information, and chronic disease state management for our clinical programs. Provide leadership and guidance to supporting staff to ensure the efficient operation of the Specialty Mail Service Pharmacy. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, including new medications, therapies, and technologies. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Current Pharmacist License in good standing in the State of Texas. Residency in the State of Texas. Six months of pharmacy experience. Six months of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. Ability to obtain additional state licenses as required by business needs. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Licenses in other states. Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions. Education A Bachelor's or PharmD degree in Pharmacy is required for this role.
