Job Overview In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, processing transactions, and supporting our pharmacy team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be expected to model and convey a positive and great client experience, ensuring that every interaction with our customers is welcoming, friendly, and professional. Key Responsibilities Registers sales on designated sales register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience Models and shares customer service best practices with all colleagues to deliver a positive and brilliant client experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and arenaflex service values (e.g., offering assistance proactively, recognizing needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.) Recommends items for sale to customers and suggests upsell as well as companion items Registers customer purchases on assigned sales register, collects cash and distributes change as requested; processes voids, returns, delays, discounts, and exchanges as needed Maintains counters and retires clean and well-promoted, takes inventory, and maintains records Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, ensuring data is placed accurately, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medication, verifying medication is correct, and checking for potential interactions Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control PTCB certification preferred Preferred Qualifications At least six months of experience in a retail environment Previous work experience with arenaflex is an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
