Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist to join our team at blithequark. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, interacting with customers, and developing strong patient relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient and drug information. Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring data is entered accurately and efficiently Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, verifying medication is accurate, and checking for possible interactions Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow Develop strong relationships with customers and patients, providing a unique and delightful customer experience Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a unique and delightful customer experience Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems, ensuring information is entered efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace Essential Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment Preferred: previous work experience with blithequark Preferred: desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications Preferred: basic computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control Preferred: PTCB certification Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and prescription filling Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to investing in our employees' growth and development.
