Job Overview The Pharmacy Technician Auditor - Express Scripts will play a critical role in our Pharma & Retail Relations team, overseeing partnerships with key supplier groups, including brand and generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, retail pharmacies, and drug wholesalers. As a seasoned professional, you will provide advanced professional input to complex Quality Assurance/Audit assignments and projects, supporting and directing more junior professionals. Your expertise will be invaluable in assisting in the development of audit policies and procedures, utilizing independent judgment and discretion to recommend changes in processing procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform efficient and effective audits to produce results consistent with departmental policies and critical corporate goals, meeting or exceeding personal production goals. Utilize analytical skills and audit tools to identify network pharmacy audit risks and develop/execute audit plans and scope of procedures determined necessary to address those risks. Conduct complex on-site network pharmacy audits to correct risks identified, protect client assets, and present findings to key internal and external stakeholders. Mentor and develop less experienced Audit Team Members, ensuring they are familiar with resource materials, including manuals and systems. Prepare and present reports, updates, and findings to department management, Account Managers, pharmacies, and chain audit contacts, clients, and other stakeholders. Participate in client communications, including conference calls and on-site meetings, to present status updates of ongoing issues and results of completed audits. Perform special projects as assigned, demonstrating your ability to work autonomously and exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%. 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, long-term care, specialty, mail order, or similar pharmacy setting, or equivalent education or Master's degree. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Proficiency in database and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external contacts. Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in quality assurance, audit, or a related field. Advanced knowledge of pharmacy operations, laws, and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
