Work Outline As a Pharmacy Technician with Walgreens, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. Your primary responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: Performing patient enrollment and information section tasks, including entering data into our pharmacy systems and handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines. Handling high-volume client requests, including answering phone calls, responding to messages, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner. Investigating and resolving patient medication discrepancies, including deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) and communicating with patients and prescribers as needed. Providing support to pharmacists, both in-store and remotely, to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations. Identifying and escalating issues to senior-level staff as necessary to ensure timely resolution and maintain high-quality patient care.
