Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Phone and Chat Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for verifying the credentials of nurses who have selected healthcare facilities to work with, following up with them to confirm the validity of their credentials, and handling inbound and outbound calls to keep them updated on the status of shift assignments. Your exceptional communication skills, technical savvy, and ability to work independently will make you an invaluable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with empathy and understanding. Navigate multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and concerns. Follow established communication scripts when addressing different topics, adapting your approach as needed to meet the unique needs of each caller or chatter. Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research solutions, and provide alternatives or resolutions, always striving to deliver exceptional customer service. Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls, perform data entry tasks, and maintain accurate records. Work efficiently in an online environment, navigating various systems and tools with ease. Process work requests and records for nurses requesting to sign up for shifts, verifying that they have the necessary credentials and skills. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly transitioning between tasks without compromising efficiency or composure. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions, upholding the highest standards of service excellence. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, preferably in a call center or office environment. Technical savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and technologies. Previous remote work experience is a plus, as you will be working from home and must be self-motivated and disciplined. A quick learner, able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Accurate typing skills, with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute. Strong phone and verbal communication skills, combined with active listening and empathy. A background check will be required, in accordance with state and federal laws. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Previous experience working in a healthcare-related field or call center environment. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools. Experience with data entry and record-keeping, with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you can expect: A starting hourly rate of $14, plus shift differential (an additional $1 per hour for nights and weekends) and the potential for increases after 90 days, based on attendance and performance. A comprehensive paid training program, lasting three weeks, to ensure your success in the role. Full-time employment, with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week, including rotating weekends. A laptop or desktop computer, meeting the following minimum specifications: Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater Memory: 8GB on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required USB headset Up-to-date antivirus software, with a recent scan completed, and a firewall enabled.
