Experienced Principal Product Manager – Strategic Leadership in E-commerce and Retail Technology Innovation

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to join our US Omni Tech team in Bengaluru. As a leader in our supply chain group, you will be responsible for driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects, identifying customer and operational needs, and developing and communicating business plans and priorities. You will manage a high-performing team, coaching, guiding, and mentoring them to build supply chain products that solve complex problems. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating conflicting stakeholder priorities, making data-driven decisions, and driving the adoption of new and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities Present and clearly articulate product strategy to company leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Manage a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship to build supply chain products that solve complex problems. Develop and own roadmaps across complex products, ensuring communication with internal and external stakeholders, and driving alignment of features through organizational and market constraints. Work with multiple product and business functional teams across several geographical regions and Walmart markets, navigating conflicting stakeholder priorities and making data-driven decisions. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects, identifying customer and operational needs, and developing and communicating business plans and priorities. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area, with a minimum of 9 years of experience in product management. Alternatively, 11 years of experience in product management or a related area, with a strong track record of driving business growth and innovation. Advanced or Master's degree in Engineering or Management, with 12+ years of software experience and 3-4 years of experience leading product teams and product portfolios. Effective communication skills, with the ability to act as an advisor to senior leadership and partner with cross-functional teams. Flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous environments, with a strong ability to navigate conflicting stakeholder priorities and make data-driven decisions. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related area, with 8 years of experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products. Supervisory experience, with a strong track record of coaching, guiding, and mentoring high-performing teams. Experience working with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Lean experimentation methodologies, with a strong understanding of product discovery processes, product vision, and product strategy. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills, with knowledge of competitive technology landscapes, existing portfolio of enterprise systems, technologies, services, and architecture. Understanding of common PaaS and IaaS technologies and environments, software quality assurance methodologies, tools, processes, and checkpoints. Knowledge of emerging technology and industry trends, with the ability to drive innovation and adoption of new technologies. Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive business growth and innovation through data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build stakeholder consensus.
