Job Summary As a PMO Task Director at Delta Airlines, you'll be responsible for leading high-value projects across the RES division, developing and implementing project management best practices, and driving business-critical initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders to ensure successful project delivery, effective communication, and alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the project management of high-value initiatives across the RES division, including coordinating tasks from project inception to planning, execution, and closure. Develop and maintain project artifacts, including project contracts, project plans, risk and issue logs, and project dashboards. Manage multiple simultaneous projects of varying priority and complexity, across different teams or stakeholders. Drive the development of the association's culture at the functional level, ensuring strong alignment with partners across the broader enterprise. Foster communication strategies and implement processes, activities, and projects that result in timely dissemination of information and communication consistency. Support the development of business cases, prioritization, and overall divisional portfolio management. Establish and maintain effective relationships and feedback loops between leaders, functional stakeholders, and cross-divisional Delta teams. Support the growth and development of the RES PMO capability and the establishment of a Center of Excellence for strategic portfolio management. Requirements Essential Qualifications Phenomenal planning, organization, and creative problem-solving skills. Proven ability and a demonstrated history of success in managing and delivering multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity. Unrivaled communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across the organization and build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and senior leadership. Ability to lead and work independently and within a team. Proficiency in written and oral communications, with the ability to deliver concise documents for senior-level presentations. Must perform acceptably in their current role. Models Delta's Standards of the Street, guiding principles, and safety-conscious behaviors. Where allowed by relevant law, you have received or will receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based work, while potentially not already employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc. Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal information. Embracing diverse individuals, thinking, and styles. Has a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years old and has authorization to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience managing projects according to Project Management Institute (PMI) standards. Experience with PowerApps, SharePoint, and project management software. Enjoys working in a high-profile environment with fluid needs, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines.
