About the Role We are seeking an experienced Public Safety Manager to join our team. As a key advisor for prospective customers and internal teams, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative solutions for emergency response challenges. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on cutting-edge projects, provide crucial input on optimal workflow and design for public safety, identify new growth opportunities, and inform strategic decisions leveraging your industry experience and knowledge. Key Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert and public safety advisor to prospective enterprise and B2B customers, as well as internal teams on optimal solutions for emergency response challenges Communicate with internal sales leaders and prospects to understand their goals and needs from a business and technical standpoint Develop an in-depth understanding of RapidSOS products and services to effectively communicate their value and ability to meet the prospect's needs Provide input on efficient workflow and optimal design as it relates to public safety, including go-to-market strategies and ECC training efforts Stay up to date with trends, recent news, regulations, standards, and developments in the public safety landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy Identify potential growth and upsell opportunities within existing partnerships by leveraging industry knowledge and identifying public safety information gaps Contribute to cross-functional efforts with other internal RapidSOS teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Public Safety Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 10-15+ years of experience in the public safety industry, including 5-10+ years of operational/administrative experience as a leader in an ECC/911 PSAP In-depth familiarity with 911 and field responder operational workflows, including call-taking, dispatch, radio communications, and other PSAP technology Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead group discussions and build consensus with people across all levels, including executives Experience working independently and collaboratively, overseeing multiple concurrent projects, and collaborating on initiatives in a cross-functional team Strong work ethic, self-starter, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excitement and passion for a rapidly evolving public safety ecosystem with an open mindset and ideas for growing the public safety technology ecosystem Ability and willingness to travel 35% of the time Preferred Qualifications Nice-to-have experience includes: Contract or scope of work development and/or management User interface and/or workflow design Project management experience NENA Emergency Number Professional (ENP) Certification Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions Passion for public safety and emergency response Career Growth Opportunities Work on cutting-edge projects and technologies Collaborate with a talented team of professionals Develop your skills and expertise in public safety and emergency response Take on new challenges and responsibilities as you grow in your role Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge Work Environment and Company Culture Collaboration and teamwork Innovation and creativity Open communication and transparency Continuous learning and development Recognition and reward for outstanding performance Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: Salary range: $90,000 - $112,000 Equity participation Comprehensive benefits package Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Opportunities for professional development and growth Conclusion If you are a motivated and experienced public safety professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
