Our company culture values innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning, and we are looking for individuals who share these values. **Job Summary** As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within our Quality Control division. You will analyze data to identify trends and performance metrics, and use this information to develop and present recommendations for process improvements. Your work will contribute to the achievement of our company's objectives, including maintaining low costs, modernizing our operations, and improving compliance. **Responsibilities and Obligations** The responsibilities and obligations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Assisting with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Assisting with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors. * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. * May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. **Information, Skills, Work Style, and Abilities** * Ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy. * Ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present them in writing, verbally, or through presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences. * Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * Should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. * Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide suggestions using logic and reasoning. * Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred. * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred. * Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment. * Ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. * Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. * Ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate of $28/hour. * Opportunity to work with a dynamic team at blithequark. * Flexible work environment with the possibility of working remotely. * Free, unlimited space available travel benefits for yourself (assessments and expenses may apply on international travel). * Access to any necessary equipment, such as a computer, for the temporary position. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * Collaborative and inclusive work environment. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data analysis and quality control, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
