Job Overview The Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic territory plan to achieve performance targets, establishing strong relationships with key prospects, and being an effective liaison across internal stakeholders that are key to your success. You will also be responsible for forecasting with a high degree of accuracy and driving credibility through customer education of industry insights and product evangelism. This role requires a dynamic seller with a proven track record in sales, exceptional strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver results independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Achieve annual performance targets/quotas and maintain a high level of pipeline coverage Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve performance targets Establish strong relationships with key prospects and customers Forecast with a high degree of accuracy and provide regular sales updates Drive credibility through customer education of industry insights and product evangelism Approach conversations strategically, creatively, and empathetically based on pain points Proactively leverage other stakeholders in the sales cycle, including Product, Customer Success, and Executives Continuously improve and invest in product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends Actively solicit and act on feedback to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 5+ years of experience in full-cycle, quota-carrying sales roles at a software-as-a-service company, preferably in the education technology sector A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in new business-focused roles Experience in creating and executing effective territory and account plans Strong understanding of complex technical sales cycles, processes, and methodologies, including MEDDPICC and Value Selling Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to present to Executive leaders Proficiency with CRMs, such as Salesforce, and experience with sales analytics and reporting tools Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Self-motivated with a strong bias towards action and a results-driven approach Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Certification in MEDDPICC or Value Selling Experience working in the education technology sector or with educational institutions Knowledge of the higher education market and trends Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to come up with creative solutions Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex sales cycles and develop effective solutions Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities At Coursedog, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
