About the Role We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Wound Management team at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX. As a Registered Nurse Wound Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care to adults with various wound and ostomy needs, including venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic/neuropathic foot ulcers, post-surgical wound dehiscence, and soft tissue/necrotic wounds Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure optimal wound healing and patient satisfaction Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in wound management Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols to improve patient care and outcomes Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research studies to advance the field of wound management Essential Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current RN license in the state of Texas BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Strong knowledge of wound management principles, practices, and protocols Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in wound management or a related field Certification in wound management (e.g., CWCN, CWOCN, or CWS) Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support junior staff members Participation in professional organizations and attendance at industry conferences and workshops Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills.
