About the Role As a Release Manager for Netflix Game Studios, you'll be an integral part of our Games DevOps team, ensuring the smooth delivery of our games to various distribution platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in managing the ingestion, accommodation, and delivery process for our entire Netflix Games' output. You'll work closely with internal and external production teams, Accomplice Engineering, Quality Assurance, Launch Operations, and other cross-functional teams to guarantee that our games meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time. Key Responsibilities Oversee the ingestion, accommodation, and delivery process for all Netflix Games' products, ensuring compliance with game delivery and update requirements. Leverage existing pipelines and data from QA reports to record, review, and address Delivery Management construct confidence levels for each delivery. Proactively identify and communicate potential delivery impacts, working with teams to mitigate risks and ensure timely dissemination of works. Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional partners to create, update, and maintain workflows, runbooks, and schedules based on new learnings and reviews. Play a key role in participating in our Episode Management Program, driving continuous improvement in our game delivery processes. Utilize project management and coordination skills to ensure that release data is accurate and up-to-date. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 3+ years of experience shipping games and updates on multiple platforms, including mobile (iOS/Android), in a QA, Delivery Lead, or Producer role. Experience with Live Service Tasks and titles, having supported games that operate a live service model of build and content updates. The ability to objectively assess QA reports and consider context around QA management levels, launch timelines, and operational goals to impart clear, concise, and specific concerns related to the health of the builds. Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage uncertainty and make informed decisions quickly. Excellent project management and coordination skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring that release data is 100% accurate. A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of what makes games great. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as automation and continuous integration. Familiarity with game development pipelines and the gaming industry's latest trends and technologies.
