As a key member of the AWS Client Care team, you will engage with clients, providing training, support, and analysis to help them build critical applications on top of AWS services like Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3. Role Overview In this position, you will serve as the client-facing voice for USG and enterprise clients, addressing complex account and billing issues. Your responsibilities will include working with enterprise clients to understand how they use AWS account and billing services, providing valuable feedback, and performing deep dive analysis on USG/enterprise client accounts and billing statements. You will also teach clients about reporting options, alerts, and budgets, and provide brief, efficient, detailed, client-oriented support to enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities Being the client-facing voice for USG and enterprise clients, addressing complex account and billing issues Working with enterprise clients to understand how they use AWS account and billing services, and providing valuable feedback Performing deep dive analysis on USG/enterprise client accounts and billing statements Teaching clients about reporting options, alerts, and budgets Providing brief, efficient, detailed, client-oriented support to enterprise clients Working with customer service peers around the world to ensure a consistent and high-quality level of support Driving initiatives that improve client interactions with AWS account and billing data Serving as the Voice of the Customer for our enterprise clients, reporting and following up on observed areas for improvement Actively seeking solutions to client needs, communicating trends to management, and proposing innovative solutions for the client experience Assisting with enterprise client communication during AWS critical launches and maintenance events Creating detailed knowledge about AWS-specific products and features Collaborating with AWS teams to drive resolution of issues for clients Ensuring internal knowledge reference pages are updated Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Associate Degree OR A+ or Network+ or Security+ 3+ years of experience in customer support or account management working with high-profile clients 3+ years of advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookup, and other formulas) Current, active US Government Trusted status of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate: Experience in service or account management positions A drive to dive into the details of a system or process to solve client issues Demonstrated success in a high-speed support environment Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional expectations SQL as well as other relational database knowledge Strong understanding of Web Technologies and the Internet Understanding of cloud-based compute and storage concepts Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable with technology and learning new systems.
