About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing beneficiaries and community-based organizations, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support and making a real impact. Your primary responsibilities will include: Acting as the initial point of contact for inquiries related to the program, providing one-to-one telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles Accurately documenting enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances Entering application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers wishing to apply for the program over the telephone Maintaining technical and program policy proficiency in the program rules/guidelines and other related program policies Providing clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements Key Responsibilities and Expectations In this role, you will be expected to work in a fast-paced call center environment, handling a high volume of customer inquiries and providing exceptional support. You will be required to: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers Problem-solve through analysis and ongoing feedback, achieving results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment Work with people of diverse backgrounds, providing culturally sensitive support and services Maintain a high level of technical and program policy proficiency, staying up-to-date on program rules and guidelines Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers Ability to problem-solve through analysis and ongoing feedback, achieving results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment High School diploma or GED Background and drug screening required Preferred qualifications include: Previous experience in a call center or customer service role Knowledge of program rules and guidelines Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds Skills and Competencies Required for Success To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
