As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our online community remains a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all users. Key Responsibilities Modifying the chat of our official Discord server to maintain a positive and respectful community atmosphere. Deleting messages that violate the server's rules to ensure compliance and user safety. Banning users with multiple and repeat violations of the server's rules to protect the community. Muting users who have violated the rules to provide a temporary measure for behavior correction. Investigating reports made by users about violations of the server's rules to ensure fairness and justice. Collaborating with other moderators and team members to develop and implement community guidelines and standards. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in community management and Discord server administration. Essential Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply for this position. High School Diploma or GED is required as a minimum educational qualification. Previous experience in community management, moderation, or a related field is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively. Familiarity with Discord and its features, as well as experience with community management tools and software.
