Job Summary As a remote customer service agent, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our customers. You will be responsible for communicating with customers in a proactive and professional manner, resolving customer inquiries, and providing product knowledge to ensure the best possible customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Communicate with customers in a proactive and professional manner across multiple communication channels, including phone, chat, and email. Identify the root cause of customer inquiries by asking probing questions to determine the best solution. Scheduling appointments for customers. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled efficiently and effectively. Maintain required product knowledge to deliver best-in-class service. Exhibit a positive attitude and bring enthusiasm to work each and every day. Demonstrate skills as a team player, with a proven record of great attendance. Utilize our customer relationship management tool to research inquiries and document customer interactions. Receive and respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and text while updating internal computer applications and systems. Essential Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, with clear diction, tone, and knowledge/use of proper grammar. Ability to multitask by reading, typing, and navigating through applications while speaking with customers. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management, and co-workers. Strong desire to be helpful and take ownership of resolving customer situations. 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment. Familiarity with customer relationship management software. Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. Technical Requirements: To ensure success in this role, you will need to have your own equipment, including: Two screens (can be 2 monitors or 1 monitor and 1 laptop). Windows 10 or 11 Home or Pro OS desktop or laptop (no Macs or Chromebooks). Hardwired internet connection directly to router (just WiFi is not accepted). High-speed internet: Min. 45 Mbps Download/10 Mbps Upload. A working computer camera. Use of a USB or Wired headset with volume control & mute function. Detailed Technical Specifications: Operating System / PC: Windows 10 or 11 Home or Professional operating system (no Macs or Chromebooks). Two (2) available USB 2.0 or greater ports. USB or Wired Headset: Microphone, volume control, and mute functions. Camera: Integrated or USB Camera with 1080p resolution or higher. Please note that camera models will vary. Standard Connection / Speed: Must have Hard-wired connection (no wireless). Minimum 45 Mpbs download / Minimum 10 Mpbs upload. Internet connection must not be shared with more than 3 devices in the same location. CPU Speed: Dual Core 1.2 GHz or better. Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 or better. Compensation and Benefits: As a remote customer service agent with Inktel, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including: Pay: $14.00 per hour (production), $12.00 per hour (training).
