Job Overview As a Remote Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you will be responsible for supporting customer service and sales interactions with hundreds of customers each week across the country. Your primary goal will be to resolve support issues, sell new products and services, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience. Key Responsibilities Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks and ensure accurate records Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade and cross-sell products and services Explain and position products and processes with customers to ensure a thorough understanding of our offerings Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction with the managerial team to ensure prompt resolution Ensure first-call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling to minimize customer effort Candidate Qualifications We are looking for highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our ideal candidate will have: Essential Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Basic understanding of Windows operating system Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation Must be customer service-oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious) Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage Strong team orientation and customer focus The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or sales Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Knowledge of contact center technology and software Certifications in customer service or sales Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. You will also need to be highly organized, able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
