About the Role In this Remote Customer Service and Sales Representative role, you will serve as a Retention Specialist, playing a vital part in the growth of our organization. Your primary objective will be to retain customers who are considering canceling their arenaflex services. You will handle a high volume of incoming calls, acting as an expert problem solver in a retention and sales capacity. Your goal will be to provide an award-winning customer experience, increasing brand loyalty and retaining customers for the long term. Key Responsibilities Utilize customer service and sales experience to resolve customer issues and retain business Persuade and upsell customers on the value of arenaflex services, reducing frustration and displeasure Handle back-to-back calls with care, empathy, and professionalism to ensure the best customer experience Use attention to detail and active listening skills to uncover customer issues and concerns Leverage exceptional de-escalation skills to resolve difficult customer situations Retain long-term business for arenaflex through customer service commitments and providing the right solutions Consistently improve performance and achieve goals, using proven problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve customer issues Maintain knowledge of arenaflex policies, products, services, and systems, as well as industry trends and competitor information Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in a sales role, with a focus on customer retention and sales 2+ years of call center customer service and sales experience High school diploma, GED, college degree, or some college experience Ability to work with numerous screens and programs open to help resolve customer issues Experience in sales, customer retention, customer experience, and retaining customers' loyalty to a product or service Ability to interpret contracts and communicate terms and conditions Strong active listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a retention specialist role or similar position Knowledge of the wireless industry, service capabilities, and other security companies Experience with sales and customer service software and technology Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume call center environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to creating a culture of career advancement and development.
