Key Responsibilities Promotes and sells air journeys to the traveling public or freight forwarders Provides assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance Interprets authority's guidelines and requirements for domestic and international journeys or shipment shipments Meets and dispatches aircraft within set-up times Provides assistance to troubled passengers and clients Protects company properties and revenue Ensures a safe journey for all passengers Possesses the physical capability and dexterity to apply motor skills to perform various job-related duties Uses organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time period Is self-motivated and requires minimal supervision Responds and assists during safety and emergency situations Follows internal/external regulations and procedures Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED Read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language Bilingual language skills are required in some locations Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted admission to privileges to airport security identity display areas (SIDA), if applicable Must be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays Must report to work on a regular and timely basis Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service or a related field Knowledge of the airline industry or a similar field Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Time management and organizational skills Adaptability and flexibility Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
