Experienced Remote Customer Service Representative – Airline Industry Expertise Required for Avelo Airlines

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our passengers receive the highest level of service and support. Key Responsibilities and Expectations In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and working collaboratively with our airport operations team to ensure seamless travel experiences. Your key responsibilities will include: Exhibiting master knowledge of all Avelo Air terminal activities cycles and methodology to provide ideal support to our airport team Responding to airport crew members' calls and messages in a timely manner, with a goal of responding to all inquiries within 3 minutes or less Collaborating with IT or colleagues to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, and escalating concerns to airport operations leadership as needed Coordinating all airport activities during IRROPS (Irregular Operations), including creating plans for the best customer outcome and communicating with dispatch/support control and impacted airports Providing exceptional customer service during IRROPS, including ensuring ideal declarations and conveniences for customers, starting and leading phone calls with authority, and sending SMS messages to customers to keep them informed Working cooperatively with OCC managers, airport operations, flight operations, inflight, maintenance, and the customer service center to continuously improve processes and drive the development of IRROPS planning and cycles Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Master knowledge of airport activities and interdepartmental process flow Ability to identify concerns or patterns and proactively issue tackle while driving for excellence Self-drive and ability to work independently with little supervision Exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities Solid communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to influence performance Independent judgment and trustworthy thinking abilities Ability to manage complexity to identify underlying drivers and develop effective and straightforward solutions Continuous problem-solving and improvement attitude Solid written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not required, the following preferred qualifications and experience will be considered an asset: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the airline industry Knowledge of airline operations and systems, including booking and departure control systems Experience with IRROPS planning and coordination Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Avelo Airlines, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
