About the Role As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch service and support via inbound and outbound calls. You'll be responsible for advising members on benefits, responding to consumer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls to advise members on benefits, respond to consumer inquiries, and resolve issues Provide education and status updates on previously submitted documents and requests Meet performance goals established for the position in areas such as efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and attendance Own consumer inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution Demonstrate empathy and good listening skills to build trust with customers Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 1 year of customer service experience with the same company (previous experience in a call center environment is a plus) Excellent communication and multitasking skills Previous sales or benefits experience (ideal but not required) High school diploma or equivalent Ability to clear a background check Empathic and good listening skills We're particularly interested in candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English, as you'll be eligible for a pay rate of $18/hour. If you're a native English speaker or have proficiency in other languages, we still want to hear from you, as our pay rate is $17/hour.
