About the Role As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering an amazing customer experience, helping to unveil the mystery of finding and enrolling in health insurance. You will be part of a team that is passionate about empowering millions of consumers across the country to make better health plan decisions. With the largest state-based marketplace footprint, our consumer-friendly interface and decision support tools are designed to simplify the health insurance process. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently Manage customer accounts and provide technical support to ensure seamless interactions Perform application data entry with accuracy and attention to detail Respond to online chat inquiries as assigned, providing timely and effective solutions Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulated guidelines Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability to changing projects and updates Effectively manage time and tasks, prioritizing multiple responsibilities with ease Commit to extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent upon passing required exams Essential Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age or older Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s and a dedicated, private, and secure workspace Own a personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period Complete a background check and health screening as part of the onboarding process Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible) Possess moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfort working from home Be self-motivated and success-driven, with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer experiences Preferred Experience Previous experience in customer support or technical support role, with a focus on health insurance or the Affordable Care Act Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, with the ability to adapt to new technologies Spanish bilingual skills, which are highly valued and may result in enhanced compensation Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to providing our team members with a comprehensive range of benefits, including: Paid training, with extensive support and resources to ensure your success Full-time, seasonal temp-to-permanent roles, with opportunities for career growth and advancement Performance and attendance-based incentives, in addition to a competitive base pay The convenience of working from home, with a collaborative and supportive team environment 401K match, individual coverage HRA (ICHRA), and paid time off (PTO) Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are dedicated to helping our team members grow and develop in their careers.
