Job Overview As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, providing support and guidance to individuals navigating the health insurance enrollment process. This is a full-time, seasonal position with opportunities for temp-to-permanent roles, offering a competitive hourly salary range of $14.50 - $16.00, with enhanced rates contingent on weekly attendance and performance. For Spanish bilingual candidates, the base pay starts at $15.50 per hour, with an enhanced rate of $17.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently. Manage customer accounts, provide technical support, and assist with application data entry. Respond to online chat inquiries as assigned, ensuring timely and effective communication. Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels. Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in response to changing projects and updates. Effectively manage time and tasks, prioritizing multiple responsibilities and maintaining a high level of productivity. Commit to extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent on passing required exams. Essential Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age or older. Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, with a dedicated, private, and secure workspace. Personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period. Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period. Complete a background check and health screening. Cable/Fiber Broadband Internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection is required (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible). Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology. High level of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfort working from home. Self-motivated and success-driven, with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service. Preferred Experience Previous experience in customer support or technical support role. Previous experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act. Previous experience in a Call Center environment. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
