About the Role As a Customer Advocate at blithequark, you will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction through inbound and outbound phone calls, email support tickets, chats, forums, and other avenues of communication. Your mission will be to treat customers with the same respect and dignity that you would want to receive, resolving problems and making the process easy for them while building and maintaining the blithequark reputation. You will be the face of our company, creating an effortless experience for customers from the moment they interact with us until they receive their products. Key Responsibilities Answering inbound customer calls in a friendly and professional manner, using active listening skills to understand their concerns and provide effective solutions. Responding to inbound digital communication from customers in a timely and personalized way, handling each customer as if they were the only one. Interpreting digital communication to fully understand customer issues and doing everything possible to resolve them in the first call, email, or chat. Updating detailed notes in our system for each customer, ensuring an excellent history and preventing the need for customers to re-explain their situation in the future. Maintaining knowledge of our products and services, staying up-to-date with the latest information and developments. Following our Quality Assurance standards at all times, meeting all KPI targets and striving for continuous improvement. Placing outbound calls as needed to answer voicemails, support tickets, or as directed by management, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled promptly and efficiently. Preventing cancellations or returns wherever possible, using upselling techniques and providing alternative solutions to meet customer needs. Understanding when to forward escalated issues to management, ensuring that complex problems are handled by the right people and resolved in a timely manner. Creating and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed, having them approved by management and ensuring that they are followed consistently. Identifying trends and patterns in customer feedback, reporting them to management with data and insights to inform business decisions. Handling special projects and tasks as delegated by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A High School Diploma or GED, with 2+ years of experience in a contact center or customer service environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Strong active listening skills, with the ability to understand and respond to customer concerns in a empathetic and professional way. Comfort with upselling and using sales techniques to meet customer needs and drive business results. Strong computer skills, with the ability to work with multiple systems and software applications while handling customer interactions. A mindset that is open and ready to embrace change, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies. Coachability, with a desire to receive feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve business goals. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high standards and a focus on results. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with a strong understanding of how to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Experience with Quality Assurance standards and KPI targets, with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in customer feedback and develop effective solutions.
