As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will undergo a comprehensive 4-week training program to specialize in one of our consumer lending brands. Post-training, your main role will involve delivering exceptional customer service, answering inbound calls, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. You will be responsible for handling all customer inquiries, requests, and educating them on our products and services. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from customers to answer and service any questions they may have, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries Handle all customer inquiries, requests, and thoroughly educate them on our products and services, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of our offerings Provide high-quality support in the areas of processing payments, creating payment plans, and other account-related tasks to ensure a positive customer experience Communicate clearly and professionally with all customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and courteous Maintain accurate, up-to-date information for customer accounts, ensuring that all data is accurate and secure Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have: At least one year of call center experience, preferably in a customer-facing role Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction, including phone conversations and detailed note-taking in computer systems Independent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations, with a focus on delivering high-quality results Skill in deescalating complex customer interactions, along with a drive to exceed goals in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment, whether working in a virtual or office setting Essential Qualifications In addition to the above requirements, you will need to: Be eligible to work in the United States, with the ability to provide documentation to support your eligibility Reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wisconsin, or Wyoming Have a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences Be able to work in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a consumer lending or financial services environment Knowledge of consumer lending products and services, including loan options and payment plans Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with the ability to navigate complex systems and databases A certification in customer service, such as a Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills : The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, co-workers, and management, both verbally and in writing Problem-solving skills : The ability to think critically and outside the box, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to customer queries Time management skills : The ability to manage your time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Adaptability : The ability to adapt to changing situations, priorities, and technologies, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences Teamwork : The ability to work collaboratively with others, including co-workers, supervisors, and management, to achieve common goals and objectives Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
