Job Overview We are currently recruiting for future openings for the Customer Service Representative (Hybrid) position, which will be available in the near future. As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for communicating with borrowers regarding federal student loan programs, resolving customer inquiries, taking loan payments, and providing repayment options. This is a hybrid role that requires you to work from home and occasionally visit our office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming borrower calls, chats, and make outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Counsel and inform borrowers about their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility, while taking payments and updating their accounts efficiently. Locate needed information quickly and minimize the time borrowers spend on hold, ensuring a seamless and effective customer experience. Maintain the security and privacy of borrowers' information, protecting both the borrower and our partners. Work an 8-hour shift with a one-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks, ensuring you are well-rested and focused throughout the day. Demonstrate strong computer skills, including the ability to multitask and type while talking to borrowers. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college or a bachelor's degree is preferred. Ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment. Must be able to obtain a Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check. Residence in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area is required. Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to multitask, including typing while talking to borrowers. Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord is necessary. A dedicated workspace at home that is free from noise and distractions is required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the financial or education industry. Knowledge of federal student loan programs and repayment options. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
