Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled remote customer service representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a representative, you will be responsible for providing information, assistance, and support to customers regarding eligibility, enrollment, and other services related to the Maryland Health Connection. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to individuals, families, and small group employees via phone, email, or other communication channels Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties for customers Assist customers with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid and services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to senior representatives or management as needed Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills Essential Qualifications Must be a resident of the state of Maryland Call Center experience is mandatory for this role High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities Proficient in using computers, software applications, and technology, including CRM software and eligibility and enrollment portals Must have a personal computer with at least an i5 processor or higher and a high-speed internet connection Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the healthcare or insurance industry Knowledge of Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, and other health insurance programs Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and eligibility and enrollment portals Bilingual or multilingual skills Certifications in customer service, healthcare, or a related field Skills and Competencies Communication skills : ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management via phone, email, and other communication channels Problem-solving skills : ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and escalate complex issues to senior representatives or management as needed Technical skills : proficiency in using computers, software applications, and technology, including CRM software and eligibility and enrollment portals Time management skills : ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet performance metrics Adaptability : ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
