Experienced Remote Customer Service Representative – Patient Care Advocate for Pharmacy Benefits and Support

Job Overview In this critical role, you will serve as a Patient Care Advocate, handling customer service inquiries from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits. Your primary objective will be to research and resolve problems in a timely manner, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to maximize the use of their pharmacy distribution program. As a key member of our team, you will utilize computerized systems to gather information, respond to questions, and document issues and resolutions in a common database. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound member, provider, and physician calls in a professional and courteous manner Answer questions related to pharmacy benefits, maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees where applicable Collaborate with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, responding to members within performance agreement guidelines Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring that corrective action is pursued and expedited to address their needs Adhere to quality and production standards, complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations Perform other duties as needed to support the team and ensure exceptional customer service Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 1 year of experience in a call center environment (preferred) 1 year of experience in customer service (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues Proficiency in computerized systems and databases, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in a healthcare or pharmacy benefits environment Knowledge of pharmacy distribution programs and mail order services Experience with quality and production standards, with a focus on continuous improvement Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues Customer Service : A customer-centric approach, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support Teamwork : Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on continuous improvement Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
