Job Overview and Key Responsibilities In this 100% remote position, you will work directly with clients to provide solutions for their property and casualty insurance needs, manage inbound calls, emails, and chats, and optimize sales opportunities to drive policy sales and customer retention. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from clients to sell property and casualty insurance policies Building rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of blithequark's brand and our insurance products Handling all interactions promptly and effectively to minimize wait times and ensure a seamless customer experience Managing time and other resources to ensure sales goals are met consistently and contributing to the growth and success of our business Building strong knowledge of products and services offered to provide expert guidance and support to clients Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess: A current active resident property and casualty insurance license (General P&C, NOT Personal Lines) in a minimum of 35 states, but preferably all 50 + D.C. 2+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of sales success and customer service excellence Proven attendance reliability and a flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends A high school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in sales, customer service, and insurance principles Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment Insurance industry sales experience, with a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance products and services Service industry and/or Contact Center experience, with a strong background in customer service and sales Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines, and a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills, with excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship-building skills Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections and close sales, with a strong quality sales mindset and attention to detail Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, with a strong commitment to compliance and regulatory requirements Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet, with proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
