Job Overview As a Remote Customer Service Representative (Seasonal, Healthcare) at arenaflex, you will work from the comfort of your own home, interacting with customers via inbound and outbound calls, as well as through the internet. Your primary responsibility will be to provide customer service support and resolve routine problems and questions regarding our clients' products and services. Key Responsibilities Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide to address healthcare-related inquiries, such as understanding benefits, claims, billing inquiries, authorizations, finding new providers, and more Track, document, and retrieve information in databases to ensure accurate and efficient customer support Offer additional products and/or services to customers as needed Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile, ensuring that every interaction is positive and supportive Work in a fast-paced environment, navigating multiple systems and technologies to provide seamless customer support Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: 2+ years of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field or benefits/insurance organization High school diploma or GED Open availability, as our clients are open 24/7 A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking and eagerness to learn new technologies A desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing, as well as high-speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Knowledge of healthcare-related terminology and concepts Previous experience working with customers in a healthcare setting Bilingual or multilingual skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate multiple systems and technologies Proficiency in customer service software and technology Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
