Job Overview We have immediate openings for full-time, remote, temp-to-hire Customer Service Representatives who are Missouri residents and reside more than 45 minutes from Jefferson City. As a Remote Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to participants regarding initial and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services. Key Responsibilities Answer calls from participants regarding initial and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services, providing accurate and timely information to address their inquiries and concerns. Gather, verify, evaluate, and enter necessary social, financial, and medical information into various applications, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of participant records. Maintain complete and accurate computerized records of participant interactions, including detailed notes and updates on participant status and progress. Perform a variety of diverse tasks while continuing to maintain currency and accuracy of program requirements, including staying up-to-date on policy changes and procedure updates. Ensure timely processing of participant inquiries and annual reviews to meet client needs and program mandates, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively to meet performance standards. Meet or exceed daily standards for performance, accuracy, customer service, and quality, consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a customer-centric approach. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Basic office and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications. Exceptional communications and customer service skills, including the ability to handle client behaviors such as fear, hostility, and aggression with empathy and professionalism. Knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles used in the calculation of public assistance benefits, including the ability to accurately calculate and explain benefits to participants. High-speed internet, quiet space with a door to safeguard equipment, and a modem/router to hardwire phone, ensuring a secure and reliable remote work environment. Knowledge of the general provisions, objectives, and philosophy of public assistance programs, including the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner. Ability to multitask and resolve issues when necessary, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively to meet performance standards. Excellent attendance with no absences during the 6-8 week training period, demonstrating a commitment to learning and professional development. Clean background and ability to pass drug screening, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of integrity and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in customer service, public assistance, or a related field, including experience working with diverse populations and addressing complex customer inquiries. Advanced computer skills, including experience with database management and software applications used in public assistance programs. Bilingual or multilingual skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with participants who speak languages other than English.
