Key Responsibilities and Daily Roles As a Remote Customer Service Specialist with blithequark, your primary focus will be on providing excellent customer service to our clients, patients, and requestors. Your daily responsibilities will include: Meeting a daily goal of 85 calls, averaging 11 calls per hour, to assist clients, patients, and requestors with the status of requests for medical records via phone call. Ensuring that all notes are accurate and detailed, with every action requiring a note in our system. Providing excellent customer service promptly, with accurate and concise information, to build strong value-based relationships with our customers. Resending or canceling invoices, reprocessing orders for missing information, and obtaining missing information for non-compliant requests from patients and requestors. Performing data entry and other duties as assigned, while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward our customers at all times. Faxing and emailing records securely to requestors, and working with other departments to ensure that requests are sent promptly. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to multi-task, prioritize duties, and have strong time management skills, with proficiency in computer skills and software applications such as Microsoft Office. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward our customers at all times. Preferred Skills and Qualifications While not required, previous medical records experience and knowledge of HIPAA are preferred. Additionally, 1+ year of customer service or call center experience is desirable.
