Job Summary As a Remote Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling live chat messages on our clients' websites and social media accounts. You will provide support to existing customers and potential new customers, answering questions about discounts, shipping rates, return policies, and product availability. This is a contract role with no fixed term, offering a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $35. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional live chat customer support to clients via their website and social media accounts Handle incoming customer support questions and respond promptly and professionally Resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner Follow provided steps and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in support Work independently with minimal supervision, using your own device and internet connection Set your own schedule, ensuring a minimum of 10 hours of work per week Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers Essential Qualifications and Skills A device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop) Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently Ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions 10+ hours of availability per week Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Basic computer skills and familiarity with live chat software Preferred Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in customer support or a related field Familiarity with social media platforms and website chat functions Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Ability to work in a global team environment and adapt to different cultures and time zones Proficiency in multiple languages (optional) What We Offer At blithequark, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $35, depending on experience.
