Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including but not limited to: Processing exchange deal purchases in client profiles and identifying and resolving discrepancies between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents Reconciling and settling move tasks, as well as processing and reconciling reward tasks Processing Corporate Action Events and performing research on complex and escalated issues Conducting testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider improvements Collaborating with Retail and Institutional Service Teams through email, phone, Slack, Expectation, and Salesforce Representing blithequark in daily relationships with fund providers, transfer brokers, converse agencies, and other external business partners Task-Specific Responsibilities Some of the specific tasks the Remote Data Entry and Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for include: Study and assessment of membership agreements or transfer requests Client/Advisor level exemptions and regulatory responsibilities (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) Reconciliation of field, returns, and transfer damages Assessment and analysis of correct tax programming and corrections of income tax coding Troubleshooting internal/external system enhancements or issues Identifying and resolving discrepancies between blithequark, fund companies, and other external partners Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and research skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications Experience in data entry and reconciliation, preferably in the financial services industry Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working with investment operations, including trade processing and reconciliation Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards Familiarity with Salesforce and other customer relationship management systems Experience working in a remote or home-based environment Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Technical skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry software, and other technology systems Analytical skills: ability to analyze complex data and identify discrepancies and trends Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Problem-solving skills: ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions Time management skills: ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote work environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
