Job Overview This is a 100% remote, full-time position, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. As a remote data entry specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system databases. Your working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm PST, providing a stable and predictable schedule. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages or information, and resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications Following data program security practices and procedures at all times Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations Performing other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience Experience in a medical office preferred but not required MUST be tech-savvy and detail-oriented In addition to these qualifications, you should possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone, as well as be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet. You should also be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M.
