Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in our team by accurately and efficiently transferring confidential data from paper and electronic formats into our billing software. Key Responsibilities Transfer confidential data from paper and/or electronic (typed) formats into billing software (Timeslips) using a keyboard with high accuracy and attention to detail. Type in data provided directly from staff, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. Verify data by comparison and generating reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Sort and organize paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning. Prior work experience in data entry, preferably in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office, although not required. Typing proficiency, with a preferred level of at least 45 words per minute (wpm) accuracy and no errors, demonstrating strong keyboard skills and attention to detail. Some understanding of the internal processes of medical facilities and med-legal terminology, although training will be provided to ensure your success in this role. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry-specific terminology and processes. Advanced typing skills, with a speed of 60 wpm or higher, and a high level of accuracy, demonstrating exceptional keyboard proficiency. Familiarity with billing software, such as Timeslips, and electronic health records (EHRs), demonstrating a strong technical skillset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
