Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering exceptional results, and we are always looking for talented individuals to join our ranks. **Responsibilities** As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily * Performing other various clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations * Performing other duties as assigned **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * A minimum of 6 months related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience * Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required * You must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills **Essential Skills and Qualifications** * Complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone systems * Knowledge of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet * Qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. * Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness * Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met * Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey necessary information accurately, listen effectively, and ask questions where clarification is needed * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Ability to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data entry software and systems * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision **Work Environment and Culture** As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will enjoy a flexible and dynamic work environment that values work-life balance and employee well-being.
