Our team is comprised of talented professionals who share a passion for delivering high-quality results and making a meaningful impact. **Responsibilities** As an Experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily * Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations * Performing other duties as assigned **Key Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * A high school diploma or equivalent * A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience * Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required * Must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented * Complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone * Knowledge of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet * Qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. * Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness * Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met * Exceptional communication skills, including conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Ability to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote employee of blithequark, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
