About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented data entry specialist to join our team on a remote, full-time basis. As a data entry specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately entering information into our databases, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our data, and ensuring compliance with our data integrity and security policies. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Maintenance : Accurately enter information into respective databases, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accurate. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data, and perform regular audits to ensure data quality. Documentation : Handle and organize files to keep track of important documents, including contracts, invoices, and other business-related documents. Ensure that all documents are properly labeled and stored in a secure and accessible location. Reporting : Generate reports as required, ensuring that they are accurate and delivered on time. Reports may include sales data, customer information, and other business-related metrics. Communication : Liaise with internal teams to gather information and resolve discrepancies in data. Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, and ensure that all communication is clear, concise, and professional. Compliance and Confidentiality : Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies, including adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. Maintain the confidentiality of all data and documents, and ensure that all sensitive information is properly secured. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills: Education : High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in a related field is a plus. Experience : Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. Technical Skills : Fast typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute; knowledge of word processing tools, such as Microsoft Word, and databases, such as Microsoft Excel. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and provide excellent customer service. Attention to Detail : High attention to detail, with an aptitude for problem-solving and analytical thinking. Availability : Must be available to work during standard business hours, with flexibility to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications Certification : Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA). Experience with Software : Experience with software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or other productivity software. Language Skills : Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.
